Open
The Oxford–Pershing Square Graduate Scholarship is one of the most generous scholarships at the University of Oxford. It supports outstanding students who want to tackle the world's biggest problems through Oxford's 1+1 MBA: a one-year master's degree followed by the one-year MBA at the Saïd Business School.
What the scholarship covers
- Full course fees for both the one-year master's and the MBA
- A living-costs grant of at least £21,805 for each year of study
- Five scholarships are awarded each year
How the 1+1 MBA works
- Year 1: a one-year master's degree at Oxford, in a subject such as public policy, global health, energy systems, development studies or computer science
- Year 2: the one-year MBA at Oxford's Saïd Business School
Who is considered (in order of priority)
- New applicants admitted to both a 1+1 MBA partner master's and the MBA (waitlisted applicants are not considered)
- Applicants admitted to a full-time one-year master's not on the partner list, who have also applied separately to the MBA
- Current Oxford master's students admitted to the MBA who weren't considered the year before
How to apply
- Choose your one-year master's from Oxford's 1+1 MBA partner programmes.
- Apply for both courses: the master's and the 1+1 MBA.
- Write a scholarship essay of no more than 500 words answering:
"How do you intend to change the world and what does this tell us about you as a person?"
