Anthony Udokwu Foundation Yahweh Scholarship 2028 for Nigerian University Students

Updated 2 November 2026 Open

Anthony Udokwu's Foundation–Yahweh, a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity No. 1214603), helps Nigerian students who face serious barriers to finishing their education. Its 2028 University Scholarship is now open.

This scholarship is for Nigerian university students facing real hardship. Being a student alone does not make you eligible.

Who can apply

You must be a university student in Nigeria and fit at least one of these groups:

  1. Students living with a disability
  2. Orphans: usually students who have lost both parents. A student who has lost one parent may qualify if the surviving parent has abandoned them or gives no real support.
  3. Students in critical circumstances: abuse, exploitation, serious neglect, abandonment, or unsafe living conditions affecting their education or safety

What you'll need

  • Your university, course and matriculation number
  • Your annual school fees (in naira)
  • Details of who currently pays your fees
  • Contact details of someone who can verify your situation, such as a lecturer, pastor or community leader

Do not upload medical, orphanhood or abuse-related documents at the first stage.

How to apply

  1. Go to the official 2028 Scholarship application page.
  2. Complete the eligibility check.
  3. Enter your personal and university details, using an email address you can access.
  4. Explain your financial situation and who pays your fees.
  5. Answer the ten ethical scenario questions (a score of 80 or more is recorded as passed, but a lower score doesn't automatically disqualify you).
  6. Complete the verification and declaration section.
  7. Click "Submit 2028 Scholarship Application", then keep your reference and track progress in the Foundation Records Portal using the same email.
