About Scholar Fahad
I'm Fahad Babangida. Scholarships changed the course of my education, and this site exists to help you find yours.
MFin, Sustainable Finance (UIII)
I know what a scholarship can do because I have depended on them myself. A Katsina State Government Scholarship paid for my Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Umaru Musa Yar'adua University in Nigeria, where I graduated with first class honours as the best graduating student, ranked first out of 58. A fully funded master's scholarship then took me to Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII), where I completed a Master of Finance specialising in Sustainable Finance.
Along the way I saw that talent is rarely the problem. Many capable students miss out because they hear about opportunities too late, or because nobody shows them how to write a strong CV, motivation letter or research proposal. I started Scholar Fahad on Facebook to change that, and today more than 71K people follow along for new opportunities.

Why I created this platform
Because I write research proposals, academic papers and scholarship applications myself, the guides on this site come from experience, not theory.
What I believe
- Scholarship information should be free. Every listing and guide on this site is free to read, and official scholarships are free to apply for.
- Official sources come first. Each listing links to the scholarship provider's own website. Always confirm the current details there before you apply.
- Your application should be your own work. My guides and reviews help you write better; I never write applications for you to submit as your own.
How the site stays free
The site is supported by advertising and by clearly labelled sponsored posts from education partners. Sponsored content never changes how a scholarship is described. Optional document review services also help cover the costs.
