  1. Choose a master's programme at the University of Groningen that starts in September 2027.
  2. Apply for admission through the university's online application system before 1 December 2026. Upload your transcripts, CV, motivation letter, recommendation letters and English test results.

  4. Nomination. The Admission Office and faculty admission boards choose the strongest eligible candidates and nominate them for the scholarship. Nominated students are contacted directly.

  • Write a strong motivation letter. Explain why you chose your programme, how it connects to your career and how you will contribute to your home country.
  • Get excellent recommendation letters from lecturers who know your academic work well.
  • Show financial need. The fund is for students who have no other means of financing their studies.
