Apple Internship Programme 2027

Updated 10 October 2026

Apple offers internships for university students who want hands-on experience at one of the world's most famous technology companies. Interns work on real projects as full members of their teams, in technical and non-technical areas such as software, hardware, machine learning, design, marketing, operations and finance.

No single deadline: Apple posts internship roles on a rolling basis on its jobs website, and seats fill team by team. Apply early. At the time of writing, more than 90 internship roles were open.

Types of internships

  • Summer internships
  • Co-op internships during the academic year

Apple also hires students for part-time roles such as Apple Support College Advisor and jobs in Apple Stores, in some countries.

Who can apply

According to Apple, internships are open to students who are:

  • Enrolled full-time at a university
  • Studying for a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree
  • In technical or non-technical fields

Important: internships are based at Apple offices, for example in the United States, Germany, Switzerland, China and South Korea. Each role is in a specific country, so check that you can work there legally or get the right visa. If you're studying abroad, look for roles in the country where you study.

Is it paid?

Yes. Apple internships are paid. Pay depends on the role and country. Some listings describe the pay as "competitively salaried."

How to apply

  1. Go to jobs.apple.com and filter by Students → Internships.
  2. Choose your country and the team that fits your studies.
  3. Read each role's requirements carefully.
  4. Apply with a CV that highlights your projects, skills and results.
  5. If a team picks your CV, you'll usually have a recruiter call, then several team interviews, often including technical questions for engineering roles.

Tips for a strong application

  • Show what you've built. Apple values projects: apps, code on GitHub, research, designs or business results.
  • Apply to several roles that match your skills, not just one.
  • Tailor your CV to each role's description, using its keywords.
  • Prepare for interviews by practising coding problems (for tech roles) and explaining your projects clearly.
  • Beware of scams. Apple never charges applicants, and real Apple roles are only on jobs.apple.com.
